MEET OUR FOUNDER
Ash Rosindale - Career Practitioner & Founder of Great Wave Careers
Ash is the founder of Great Wave Careers, a specialised service supporting young adults aged 16 - 34 who are feeling stuck, uncertain or unsure about their future. Through personalised career development services, he helps clients gain clarity, build confidence and take intentional steps toward meaningful, sustainable careers.
With over a decade of experience in senior leadership roles, Ash brings a strong strategic foundation supported by formal qualifications in Career Development, Education and Management. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Career Development from James Cook University, a Graduate Diploma of Education from Edith Cowan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Commonwealth University, Lock Haven.
By age 30, Ash was WA State Manager of a leading youth cancer service before progressing to National Services Manager. His approach blends evidence-based tools, ethical professional practice and structured career development frameworks with a warm, person-centred style. He works from a strengths-based foundation, helping clients make informed decisions and move forward with clarity and purpose.
Ash’s passion for this work is shaped by his own journey. After his childhood dream of becoming a professional footballer didn’t eventuate, he left home in the north of England at 18 to study in the US on a soccer scholarship. At 22, he relocated to Perth, continued exploring opportunities in football, and ultimately discovered his passion for supporting young people as they navigate life and career transitions.
Outside of his professional life, Ash is a husband to Bec and dad to Kai and Summer (plus retired greyhound, Poppy). He’s a football enthusiast, ocean lover, camping adventurer and big fan of live music.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to inspire people to live and work with purpose, clarity, and confidence creating a ripple effect of meaningful careers and fulfilled lives.
Our goal is to help individuals find their flow; where who they are aligns with what they do.

OUR Mission
At Great Wave Careers, our mission is to guide young adults through purposeful career discovery.
Through personalised career development services, we empower people to define success on their own terms
and take confident steps toward it.
OUR VALUES
Our work is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, empowerment, connection, and growth. We believe real progress comes from honest conversations, deep reflection and recognising the strengths you
already have.

OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY
Our work is about creating space to pause, reflect, and explore. We support you to make sense of your strengths, interests, and inner compass, especially when you are feeling unsure, stuck, or disconnected from direction. Whether you are choosing subjects, considering future pathways, or questioning what comes next, you do not have to navigate it alone.
Great Wave Careers is grounded in the belief that uncertainty is not a failure, but a natural part of growth. When you begin to understand yourself more deeply, confidence builds and decisions feel less forced and more aligned. Progress becomes steadier, choices feel more intentional and success follows.
If you are feeling lost, uncertain, or unsure about your future, this may be your moment to pause and listen. When you are ready, we are here to walk beside you and help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and trust in your own journey.

The name 'Great Wave Careers' is inspired by The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Japanese artisit, Hokusai. A powerful and timeless image that captures both the beauty and uncertainty of the ocean. The wave rises with force and movement, yet within it there is balance, rhythm, and direction. Much like our lives and careers, it reflects moments of change, questioning, and becoming.
At Great Wave Careers, we believe every person has their own wave to meet. For students and young adults especially, this season of life can feel overwhelming and uncertain. There is pressure to decide, to know, to have it all mapped out. Yet clarity rarely arrives all at once. Your path unfolds through understanding who you are, what is important to you and what feels meaningful to you.
